In the Black Swan gown, PETRA KARA reimagines darkness as a form of light. This sculptural creation emerges from the shadows with an ethereal elegance, evoking the enigmatic beauty of a swan gliding across midnight waters. It is a piece designed not simply to be worn, but to be inhabited — a living myth in motion.

The gown’s asymmetrical neckline carves a fluid line across the body, while sheer, whisper-thin gloves add an element of modern drama. The bodice is meticulously ruched, drawing the eye upward before cascading into a textural skirt crafted from hundreds of hand-applied elements, each one catching the light like feathers in flight. 1. We discuss design changes on the current collection. Assume we need 7 weeks from order to delivery at your door.
2. We see possible design you have in mind and we check feasibility & fabric options to provide a cost estimation for. Assume 8 weeks from order to delivery at your door.
​3. We start together from scratch designing bespoke dress. You can share a photo of your body type, the concept you have thought for your wedding and we can provide a tailored design for you. We check for fabrics and provide a cost estimation to discuss together. Assume at least 10 weeks before the big day to make sure there is available time for all the handmade process.

Shipping Details

Our base is in Switzerland. We ship worldwide from Switzerland, Italy and Greece. All shipments are sent with priority and tracking number. Express shipping possible.

Time to create a Made to Order Wedding or Evening Gown ranges from 5-7 weeks. Assume maximum 7 weeks for safety from order to delivery at your door, but we always deliver weeks before. If an order is risky to be on time we do not accept it. Shipping to Australia can take 1 week extra.

Time to create Allday Special pieces is 8 days.

Your order will be shipped to the address provided at checkout. If for any reason your order needs to be shipped to another address, please let us know. We are not responsible for custom at the boarders.

Refund & Return Policy

Once you place your order, you can provide your custom measurements (during the order or afterwards over email). We accept cancellations within 2 days of measurements provided date to avoid fabric orders. We accept returns in pieces we have already in stock like the sample sales dresses.

-For items In Stock like the Sample Dresses, we accept returns and refunds. Return should happen within 5 days with proof of return.


-For Made to Order pieces, since each dress is custom-made to the client's measurements, returns or exchanges are not accepted. However, contact us if you have issues with your order and refunds may be possible after analyzing issue.

We are not responsible for incorrect size provided by the client.

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns. We will keep you updated of your handmade item throughout the process.
